The competition put forward the location of the new municipal library in the ancient school designed by the architect Mas i Morell in 1910.

It is proposed to rehabilitate the existing building and completing the programme with a new space buried under the current patio and building a new body annexed. The intervention it is formalized as a carpet covering the basement that folds to generate the new body: an enclosed space, a light element, not a volume, for not competing with the modernist building.
